Great quote I stumbled upon

" If you come at me with your fists doubled," said Woodrow Wilson, "I think I can promise you that mine will double as fast as yours; but if you come to me and say, "Let us sit down and take counsel together, and, if we differ from each other, understand why it is that we differ, just what the points at issure are,' we will presently find that we are not so far apart after all, that the points on which we differ are few and the points on which we agree are many, and that if we only have the patience and the candor and the desire to get together, we will get together."

The Effect of a Stranger

Forgive me if my thoughts are random...It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions.
Were  to start. Let's start with Friday.

I read a post that on Friday at 12:30 fallen Soldier, Pfc Jesse Dietrick processional will be passing thur Granbury.  The idea was to give silent solute..Stand Tall Stand Silent.  I thought wow what great idea.  I wonder how many people would like the idea but not really take any action.  Would I take action?  So I decided to take action.  I create an event on Facebook...Stand Tall Stand Silent...and invited everyone on my list from Granbury.  I was WOWED by the response.

So the entourage was late but no seem to mind.  We introduced ourselves.  Some went and bought waters for others.  The scene was amazing.  Here we are strangers to each other..Hell we did not Even know the soldier, but yet we came.  As the entourage passed thur Granbury, I noticed how quiet and somber it became. When I saw several people passing by recording it.  That is when it hit me this overwhelming sadness.  I realized that this moment would last in my mind forever.

There was no hate no judgeing, just love and sadness for this tradegy.  If we could remember these moments that make us better human beings. Think of the things we could do.
